The BYOC qualifier for Copenhagen Games' main CS:GO tournament has come to a conclusion, with several big names failing to make the cut.
The upsets in the single-elimination bracket began as early as in the Round of 16, with top seed Chaos eliminated after losing to Danny "BERRY" Krüger's Ambush, who would go on to finish in the top four.
Movistar Riders were, in fact, the only team among the five top seeds to advance to the main tournament after a flawless run that included victories over Monarchs and Copenhagen Flames.
Gambit Youngsters, who are attending the event with Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov as a stand-in, caused one of the biggest upsets of the day as they eliminated GODSENT in the quarter-finals thanks to a dominant display by Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, who averaged an impressive 1.48 rating in the knockout stages.

The BYOC qualifier came to an end with an exciting three-map series between Singularity and Söderberg & Partners. The North Americans, who are playing their first event with Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman, took the lead after an overtime victory on Nuke, but the ex-Fragsters squad were able to pull off the reverse sweep to secure a place in the next stage.
The four qualified teams will now join the four invitees in Copenhagen Games' main tournament, which will kick off on Friday at 11:00 . These eight participants have been split into two round-robin groups, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. The top two teams from both groups will advance to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.
